Using multiple high-speed connections we are able to allow for up to and over 300 phone lines to be placed in remote locations. All calls go through our central hub via a satellite connection, and get distributed by our servers.
Remsat provides phone services via its own private telephone network. All of our servers are housed in a triple power redundancy highly secure facility. We cater strictly to commercial applications only, ensuring you the highest quality system with personalized support.
Small Locations
Smaller locations can only be outfitted with phone lines in the office if that is what is required. Or, we can supply lines into the recreation rooms and VIP sections as well. These are a low cost for setup and can be deployed quickly. This is a popular route for locations that move frequently throughout the year.
Large locations
REMSAT can provide phone services to large facilities in remote locations. The phone services are brought to the camp using a high speed internet connection. Our system acts as a virtual PBX system and allows for fully functional features, without the added expense of purchasing a PBX system for the site.

- caller ID

- voicemail
- call forwarding
- on hold music
- etc.
Some of the different ways we can set up your site for phone services are as follows.
- Open access phone services with bulk minutes included – this means that you can have full open access phone services for your customers to call locally or anywhere in Canada without purchasing minutes. Bulk minutes are purchased and are used by the whole group.
- Prepaid - The setup is done similar to paying for the long distance, but is fully prepaid for all local and long distance minutes. A customer would purchase one of our calling cards and then dial out using one of the phones. This is a setup that appeals to a company wanting to provide phone services at very minimal costs.
- Custom phone plans and accessibility options – this can be done for unique applications. Eg. Local Only Calling, Only toll free calling…..please contact us for details.
Internet Faxing
Using a server on location REMSAT can provide you with fax services in the same manner that you are used to. It uses your regular existing fax machines and works directly with our satellite internet services. Each fax machine will have its own local phone number so your head office and clients can send you time dependant documents.
